Initiative Roll

The first turn is decided with a dice roll for Initiative. Whoever has the highest roll gets to go first. A D20 roll plus the dexterity bonus is used for this roll.

Attack Roll

The player rolls dice to attack. If the dice roll is equal to or higher than the opponent’s evasion, then they can hit the opponent. This roll uses D20 plus Strength, Dexterity or Intelligence bonus depending on which type of attack it is.

Damage Roll

If there is a successful Attack roll, then another roll of D4, D6, D8, D10 or D12 plus the Strength, Dexterity or Intelligence bonus will be done depending on which type of weapon and attack it is. 

Critical Roll

If a 20 is rolled for an attack roll, it is an automatic hit on your opponent and your damage roll will be rolled twice. Critical rolls only take the number of the natural roll with no bonus. If you have +1 to crit then a natural roll of 19 will count as a critical hit.
